The studio is in Notting Hill and overlooks the Portobello Road -
renowned for its community of artists, designers and musicians, and the
colourful weekend market.
Jess works with you and your outfit, modelling shapes and dying colours
to create the perfect design to suit you and the occasion. Allow
approximately four weeks from initial consultation to the finished design. |

Jess listened attentively when I spoke about a hat to walk the dog in,
to go to the Ivy and the races in. I now have a beautiful, asymmetric
sculpture, and love to be in the places my hat takes me.

Jess started off doing an apprenticeship alongside designers Edwina
Ibbotsen and Dai Rees, where she learnt the intricate techniques
of traditional millinery. Afterwards she trained at Kensington & Chelsea
college. She has run her own couture millinery business since 1999. |
